Instructions: Prior to usage, always test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area. Shake the product well. Protect your work surface with a cloth. Brush the hat to clean the surface. KAHL'S HAT STIFFENER SHOULD ONLY BE APPLIED TO THE BOTTOM RIM OF THE HAT. Spray a fine mist over the entire area, keeping the bottle 8”-10” away from the hat. Allow it to dry. Utilize steam to reshape the hat to your preferred style. (You can use a pot of boiling water for steaming, holding the hat over the boiling water to apply steam and push the product into the fibers.) Repeat the above procedure for additional stiffness if needed. It's crucial to steam the product into the hat; failure to do so may result in it sitting on top of the fibers, leaving a residue that can chip and flake. Steaming is essential. Avoid saturating; instead, follow the procedure a few times for optimal results.

Return Policy

Items that are unwashed, unaltered and unworn carrying the original tags can be returned within 14 days of fulfillment for a refund or exchange. Clearance and discounted items are not eligible for returns.

For International orders, when shipping your return, please ensure that the description of goods states: “Goods returning to Canada" and it is shipped to our US returns address.
