The Akubra Overlander is a weather-resistant outback hat featuring a pinched telescope crown and a rolled raw-edge brim designed to shed rain and block sun. Akubra has been making fur-felt hats in Kempsey, New South Wales since 1912. The name is an Australian working-hat institution. This Heritage Collection model uses a tight rabbit-fur felt structure that holds its shape after a soaking and sheds water better than wool hats.

Sizing and Fit

Akubra hats run true to European centimeter sizing. Our team suggests measuring the exact circumference of your head just above the ears to find your correct size. If you are between sizes, we recommend selecting the larger size; the inner roan leather sweatband will naturally shrink slightly and conform to your head shape over the first few weeks of wear.

Return Policy

Items that are unwashed, unaltered and unworn carrying the original tags can be returned within 14 days of fulfillment for a refund or exchange. Clearance and discounted items are not eligible for returns.

For International orders, when shipping your return, please ensure that the description of goods states: “Goods returning to Canada" and it is shipped to our US returns address.
