After six long months of harsh winter weather in Alberta, and cabin fever slowly driving us crazy, Spring brings puddles, flooding, heat and cold too. For backyard gardeners, the risk of overnight frost does not end until late May.

In such an unpredictable season, when you’re outside your Spring footwear needs to be waterproof, or at least as water resistant as possible. You need ankle coverage and support when sloppy mud and water mix with hard surfaces that could throw you off balance or worse.

The Chelsea Style

    This is a classic shoe style hailing from England that’s now available from tons of brands. It’s also known as the Romeo.
